Stacey Martin

Stacey Martin has coordinated and fishes as many tournaments as his schedule allows around the country. Most of his competitive fishing is for redfish, speckled trout and bass. He has recently won Angler of the Year, and he attends numerous clinics, demo days and seminars to promote his primary obsession, and particularly loves to work with folks that may have special needs.

Rick is as competitive as they come, with a tremendous amount of experience in the FLW since 2012, he’s had quite a few top-10 finishes, and is looking to take things to the next level in his career. He’s focusing on the FLW to give him the ability to really hone in his skills on the pre-fishing front for each tournament!
Eddie McRae
Woodbury, GA
Eddie McRae is an avid wade-fisherman and kayak angler from Woodbury, GA. Born and raised on the Flint River, Eddie has spent most of his life chasing the legendary shoal bass and striper on the Flint and the Chattahoochee. Eddie is also part of the FeelFree US kayak fishing team and also represents Manley Rods, Ardent Reels, Optrix, Culprit Fishing, YakGear, Flying Fisherman Sunglasses, Drake Waterfowl, K2 Coolers, YakAddicts, & Kayak Kaddy.
Randy Plyler
Arkadilphia, AR
Randy is a highly decorated bass angler with more than 250 wins in local events and is a BFL/FLW Angler. In 2012 he was a BFL Regional Qualifier, and he’s a 10-time National Championship Qualifier for the American Bass Anglers Association. He was the 1996 and 1998 State Champion for the ABAA, as well, with over 35 top-10 finishes since 1988.

Barry JonesFlower Mound, TX
Barry Jones is a high school Athletic Trainer in North Texas. He grew up fishing with his grandfather in Longview, Texas and was recently introduced to kayak fishing by a friend. Now he spends most of his free time paddling around the lakes of North Texas searching for the giant largemouth bass. During his summers off work, he fishes as many tournaments as he can get to. Barry isanavidpromoterof Manley Fishing Rods and has earned his status of Manley Fishing Pro Staff Director.

Growing up in Minnesota,fishing was in his blood.  He started, like most, when he could hold a rod.  Grant would spend his weekly allowance at the local sporting goods store that was within biking distance from home.  He started competing in 2014, from his fishing kayak.  Grant got heavily involved with his local community, giving seminars, running youth camps, lake clean ups and eventually became the VP of MN Kayak Fishing Association.   His support team includes his wife, son and daughter and they are the main reason he can continue his passion and be successful.  

Brian Swingle
Shickshinny, PA
Brian Swingle primarily fishes the North and West Branches of the Susquehanna River in a kayak. Brian has been a member of the Pennsylvania Kayak Fishing Association a number of years and has competed in various fishing tournaments and events. Brian is affiliated with other great companies such as KJ’s Custom Baits, 412 Bait Company and Johnson Outdoors. His goals are to help educate and introduce new people into the sport of kayak fishing.
Matt Brooks
Guntersville, AL
An avid kayak fishermen and lead pastor of LifePoint Church, Matt Brooks spends much of his time searching the waters of Lake Guntersville for giant largemouth bass. Matt is a member of the Hobie fishing team and began kayak fishing to spend more time with his son, Jaron who is also now on the Hobie fishing team. Matt is married to Jennifer and has another son, Jaylon.
Randy Vining
Griffin, GA
Randy is a guide on the rivers in Middle Georgia, and has a passion for teaching people about the rivers, the native Shoal Bass, and how to chase them from a kayak. He is also an Elite Prostaffer for Johnson Outdoors Inc., and held a very important part in the design of the Predator kayak that is manufactured by Old Town.
Nick Langton
Carol Stream, IL
Nick Langton is a lifelong angler with a passion for the competitive side of fishing. Nick fishes the Kayak Bass Series trail from a kayak, as well as the IHSA (Illinois High School Association) events and High School Bassmaster Opens. Nick is the owner of Bassin’ Midwest, a successful regional fishing brand.

Kyle McDowell
Fairhope, AL
Kyle Lake McDowell is a native of Alabama who grew up fishing the lakes and small rivers of southern Alabama. Kyle’s favorite fish to target are flounder and redfish. Soon after he began kayak fishing Kyle joined the Mobile Bay Kayak Fishing Association and has served as an officer and director. He is also an avid tournament angler.

Originally from Pensacola Fl, Mel has lived in Forsyth Missouri 42yrs. She is from a long line of anglers and has fished both salt and freshwater all her life. Kayak angling has become her passion. She is a member of the Show Me Kayak Fishing Association and currently holds a chair position on the board. Mel has competed in various fishing tournaments and events and earned her spot by qualifying for the 2017 KBF National Championship through the Mo-Yak Fishing Series Tournament Trail.  She also represented Trapper Tackle at this year’s ICAST 2016 which took “Best Terminal Tackle”.  Mel is affiliated with other great companies such as Ozarks Extreme Outdoors, Power Team Lures and her own company SheAngler Custom Baits. Her goals are to help educate and introduce new people, especially woman, to the sport of kayak fishing. Kenneth is a semi-retired small business owner ,father of 4 kids and grandfather of 2. He grew up fishing the shores on Lake Show-Me in Memphis Missouri chasing bass, crappie and bluegills. Over the years he has turned into a multi species fishing fanatic. Pike walleye, spoonbill, catfish and white bass will be on his agenda every year. As a tournament fisherman he enjoys the diversity changing gears to fish whatever is biting! When the water gets hard and thickens up the fishing gets even hotter! Kenneth has only been Kayak Bass Tournament fishing for 1 year but ended up qualifying for the National Tournament of Champions at Lake Fork Texas and placed in top 15th of 125 anglers.  Kenneth has been using Manley Rods since winning his first one in a Tournament this past summer and he does not see himself using any other rod!

Cody Carpenter grew up fishing the banks of the Sabine River in East Texas. He graduated from TCU in 2004 with a degree in sports medicine. Cody started kayak fishing in 2012 and instantly became "hooked" with the simplicity and peacefulness that come with it. He discovered that Manley Rods enhances his ability to effectively fish from a kayak with the MRF system. Cody prefers the Black Ops series rods from Manley because of the increased sensitivity and greater casting distance.
